In WPF, styles can be shared between different types of elements by making the style target an elements base class. Expression Blend, however, always applies a style created through the UI to a specific element type. In order to get styles in Expression Blend to target an elements base class, the XAML editing interface can be used to make a couple of small changes. This presentation demonstrates how to modify a style in Expression Blend in order to share it between different element types.
