Um, that was a little painful to watch.
Isn't designing a user interface by keying numbers into a text editor a bit like trying to draw the Mona Lisa with a box of 8 Crayola's?
When does the designer get mouse support? Beta 2???

Great video Jesse,
I have a few remarks however.
I noticed that you tried to cut out mistakes and glue the sound back together, I found it to be a bit confusing combined with the video not being in sync with the audio. (ie. you talking about the next property when you're still typing in the first)
So my word of advice is...don't edit it. ;)
If you make a mistake just correct it instead of cutting it out, it makes the learning process a bit more smooth in my opinion.
Remarks aside, great content Jesse, you made the attached properties finally "click" inside my brain.
Keep it up!

Jesse,
What about sound integration with events like onload, onmouseover, etc. (a good example would be something like this www.nikebauer.com) It would be great to see a video about this feature if it is posible in this Silverlight version. Thank you.

>>Isn't designing a user interface by keying numbers into a text editor a bit like trying to draw the Mona Lisa with a box of 8 Crayola's<<
Right! And thre are a number of answers to that, which I'll be answering in full in a tip of the day this week, but here is the short version:
1. Canvas is not the only option: there is grid and stack
2. Right now the design surface is read only... That is not permanent
3. Expression Blend offers an alterntive tht integrates beautifully
Thanks.
